Osteopathy is an integral part of manual therapy, i.e. therapy carried out with the hands.

Osteopathy is an integral part of our holistic therapy concept. The structure of the human body is extremely complex and consists of many systems that are interconnected and influence each other. A disorder in one of the systems can upset the balance and cause an imbalance. These dysfunctions always affect the body as a whole and can manifest themselves in the form of complaints in a different system than the one that was the original trigger. In osteopathy, we view the body as a single unit, which is treated as a whole organism in diagnosis and therapy.

must be taken into account. Segmental dysfunctions, blockages, tension and pain points are palpated and treated using various techniques. The therapy itself is relaxing and supports gradual and sustainable recovery.

Osteopathy is therefore not only a useful therapy for acute pain, but also for all people who have developed imbalances in their musculoskeletal system over time, even prophylactically, before pain or major restrictions occur.

How does osteopathic examination and therapy work?

Recording

The first examination always begins with a detailed medical consultation. Our osteopaths will ask you many questions about your past illnesses, accidents, operations and, due to the holistic approach, also questions about your life circumstances or traumas you have experienced.

Investigation

The consultation is supplemented by a comprehensive full-body examination. Segmental dysfunctions, blockages, tension and pain points are palpated. The therapy itself is relaxing and leads gradually and sustainably to recovery.
