Article Orthopaedic News on pseudarthrosis treatment without surgery

In the current issue (October 2020), the medical magazine Orthopädische Nachrichten publishes a specialist article by Dr. Raul Borgmann. In it, he explains an orthopaedic therapy approach in which he was able to spare a patient with pseudarthrosis a major and very stressful surgical procedure through the combined use of shock wave (ESWT) and bioregenerative injections. Based on this successful therapy, Dr. Borgmann advocates considering such a conservative treatment approach before surgery, especially for patients with pseudarthrosis of the long tubular bones.
